Simple No I am afraid.

Simple reason as well, not everyone will be online during races becasue of time zones so it would become very unfair very quickly.

EDIT - Wayyyyyyyy too slow

and the point about the race is also accurate, we effectovely watch a replay of the race not the live race itself.

Nor is it mine. Why should I be penalised and you given an advantage? Not a particularly balanced game is it? Think about the world outside your four walls.

Totally pointless poll as this change will NEVER be implemented.

And frankly embarrassed to be British as I presume it is mostly them voting yes to this :(

This is never going to happen!! At least to that game. Maybe another one is created which works that way. But I really doubt it!
Also, I think that you should race a bit more and try to understand the game and maybe then promote these changes! ;)

well the question of the poll is "should you be able" not "it is possible to..."

You shoul, so the answer to the poll is yes. But it's impossible

Impossible is nothing? :P

I guess it can be frustrating just to watch if your strategy isn't working out, but there's simply no way I'm staying up 'til 5am here to control every race live. So I say NO.

Well there's the reason! :)

I mean, it will be unfair to those who can't watch the race "live", people like me(who have to watch it at 2am!), so it's a definite NO from me.

A predefined variabel strategy would be nice, but very hard to program.

Example:
Lower risk if you have reach the desired position.
More risk if you have not reach the desired position yet.
Lower risk when smoking.
Rain/dry risk.

You got something better to do at 4am?? Get out of bed Mr Lazy.
IMO this would make the game about 50-100% better with the option to adjust strategy like real life.
Maybe someone else will make such a game one day. In which case I will sign up quick smart.

I really don't like that answer, as it's hardly their fault.

And as it's been said before in this thread, other people aren't staying up till the early hours to watch the race, some people have lives to live.

That's a reasonable idea, this is used on another F1 manager game, and it is a good idea.

a simpler way to do that maybe to have different risks for each stint?

Well i wonder what you would said if hypothetically speaking the crew decided to implement this feature, and that with this implementation the crew would also decide that to give everyone the same chance, the race start time would be rotated around 24hours for 17 races (each race would start 1 hour and 25 minutes later).

I wonder if you would get up at 3AM to watch the race and change your strategy. Or if you would have to change it during your work...yeah right
I wonder then if you would say it ain't my problem.

Get serious dude.

But hey, this gives me an idea: let's hold the 17 races of the season at 17 different time zones! This way everyone would have a "home race" :)

EDIT: bah, too late, Alex already got there :)
